The revamped Kaleidoscope Center in Mission Viejo has some holiday treats that everyone can enjoy. Open now through Valentine’s Day, 2012, is the eco-friendly, Iceless (!) Skating Rink, where everyone from novice to expect can skate the day away – without getting cold!! Rink open daily; Mondays’ Skate Special: $8 for “ice” time and skate rental. Fridays at 7 p.m. in December mean seasonal entertainment by community groups: Arroyo Vista Middle School (December 2); Niguel Hills Middle School (December 9) and Newhart Middle School (December 16.)
