All women love that feeling after leaving the hair salon with your hair perfectly coiffed with magnificent shine and bouncy volume.  It’s amazing what difference beauty treatments can do for our self-esteem and confidence.  

Well, I needed a bit of a boost last Friday as I was hosting a charity benefit and was not feeling host worthy.  I’ve been hearing quite a buzz about a new concept of Blow Dry Bars and decided this was the perfect time to check it out.  The headed to Hudson Salon in Laguna Beach for their Happy Hour Blow Dry Special for $25 on Friday’s & Saturday from 3-6pm.  I knew we were off to a great start as I was greeted at this high end salon with a glass of wine.  After a short consultation of which I asked for a Victoria’s Secret glam look, my hair was washed along with an indulgent scalp massage.   After 40 minutes, my hair was transformed by Master Stylist, Lauren Nicholson, and I actually felt like I could walk a Victoria’s Secret runway.  As an added bonus, my hair style lasted 4 days.  For those who are wondering how I would go without washing my hair, my little trick is to use dry shampoo at the roots.  Dry shampoo eliminates any grease, refreshes hair and provides volume.  Four days later, I am hooked and am definitely added this to my beauty repertoire.
