Have you seen Cirque du Soleil? Yeah, me, too. The men & women in amazing shape, performing feats of daring  with the greatest of ease and amazing physical powers. The new age-y music and flowing fabrics...

Kelly Mitchell
My name is Kelly Mitchell and I am indeed a little bit tardy to the mommy party. I had my first baby at 39 and my second at 41. I live in Huntington Beach with my husband Jon, our 22 month old son Curran and our brand new baby daughter Cassidy Quinn.

When we go on vacation, I am not one to fall prey to the ubiquitous timeshare salesman, no matter how great the freebie is.  There is no massage, golf package, or sunset booze cruise that is worth my two or three hours I have to sit and listen to someone attempt to sell me a timeshare I am 100% certain I am not going to buy

Manna Kadar
Manna Kadar is the founder of MANNA Cosmetics, Island Tan Salon & Spa and The Beauty Bar Training & Consulting with locations in Laguna Niguel & Fullerton. Manna operates award winning salons and has been featured in Beauty Industry magazines nationwide.

Want to know the secret to a great DIY tan? Playboy Glitz Golden Glow Self Tanner!! For me, it completely surpassed all other self-tanners in every area. It gives such a great, instant tan that’s brown, not orange. And the smell?

Trisha Jones
I am a stay at home mom who doesn't like to stay AT home... I love to get out and explore Southern California with my 6 year old... On the weekends I have all 3 of my guys and we like to go to just about every family friendly event in the OC.

We lost (and found) our cat, Hyde. Read here to see some tips on finding your pet, if they go missing.

Lysa Christopher
Born and raised in Southern California, Lysa has lived the majority of her life in Orange County. She is the proud parent of two amazing boys Ryan and Alex and their black lab Harley.

Adriana Posadas
Adriana has always been passionate about health and fitness and the path for this mission was made clear after the opening of her and her husband's personal training gym- New Life Fitness in Anaheim, her participation in NBC's show "American Gladiators" and her anticipation for her Chemical Engineering Degree with an emphasis in Nutrition. Proudly, Adriana is an OC Mommy and her passion for health and fitness became even more evident with the birth of her son, Ryu. She hopes to share this passion by informing families about anything and everything that has to do with creating a healthy environment where families can flourish!

This week's Fitbuzz- Health trend is about Probiotics. When the word "Bacteria" is uttered, people have the tendency to think the worst. In fact, a coughing kid can have  grown adults running for cover!

lb has not set his/her biography yet.

When George Harrison died, Paul McCartney said, "He was a great guy, full of love for humanity, but he didn't suffer fools gladly." When Northrop Frye died, Margaret Atwood wrote: "He didn't suffer fools gladly ..." When Stephen Harper became head of the Canadian Alliance, a professor in Edmonton told a reporter, "He doesn't suffer fools gladly." Emily Carr, in her wretched years as a landlady, was "never one to suffer fools gladly," according to a publication of the museum in Victoria. The Associated Press once reported that Hedy Lamarr was much smarter than the world knew -- and, by the way, didn't suffer fools gladly.

Explosive new research has found that flu shots may actually weaken children’s immune systems, and increase their risk of developing other influenza viruses.

The report is one of many to come out within the recent months highlighting the overall ineffectiveness of the widely-promoted flu vaccine.

Starshine
Starshine Roshell is a journalism professor, magazine writer, award-winning columnist and overwhelmed mother of two.

Named for a song in the 1960s musical "Hair," in which her father starred, Starshine grew up in Los Angeles on the soap opera sets and in the Sunset Strip nightclubs where her parents worked.

She graduated UCLA cum laude and wrote for The Hollywood Reporter before joining the Santa Barbara News-Press as news reporter, theater and rock music critic, Sunday columnist and deputy features editor. She resigned with dozens of colleagues in 2006 over the publisher's breaches of journalistic ethics.

Her syndicated column won a first-place award from the California Newspaper Publisher's Association, and she has a second-place CNPA award for Business/Financial reporting.

Starshine lives in Southern California with her husband John, a graphic artist, and their two sons.

It's our beloved bedtime ritual: In the dark of my son's room, at the edge of his small bed, I sing him to sleep every night.

Ana Brandt
My name is Ana Brandt and I am a Mama of three as well as a professional photographer running a studio in Old Town Tustin.

People ask me every day how i juggle running a studio and 3 children. Like most working Mamas I really have no idea! I was a professional photographer before having kids, so I learned from day one how to adjust my schedule little by little.

Tenille Bettenhausen
After giving birth to my daughter Reese, I was well over my goal weight, suffering from Postpartum Depression, and looked for help in a fitness focused mom's group, but was unable to find one in the Irvine and Tustin Area. So I decided to start my own franchise and bring Baby Boot Camp to moms in the area. After returning to work full time in March 2010, I saw another void. Most programs in the area only offer classes during the day, making it impossible for working moms to join. Now providing a 6:30am (ouch) and Saturday classes, I am hoping to find other moms that want to get fit and still work during the day!

Katie Simpson
I am a full time working wife and mother to two active elementary school boys. When they aren't riding the roller coasters at Disneyland (I'll never admit I go to the park on average of once a week), exploring the beaches or on another fun adventure, you can also find me writing over at OCMomActivities.com and KidsandMice.com. I love finding the hidden gems and adventures throughout Orange County and Southern California.

Trick or treating at the Disneyland Resort has become a tradition for our family. Every year the kids eagerly await the evening.  This year did not disappoint!  For the first time Disneyland hosted the Mickey’s Trick or Treat instead of California Adventure.

Nisha Morris
Nisha Morris is a passionate, somewhat neurotic, often paranoid, full-time mom, wife, and career woman. Living in Orange County, Nisha spends most of her time researching about health and learning about the latest trends and safety-related topics related to children and families.

There are so many milestones that we look forward to with our little ones.  Be it their first word, first step, or first day of school – we as parents are so proud of the many accomplishments that our children make.  We empower our children, helping them make decisions, being their guide and “showing them the way”.  Here’s a thought!  Why not teach our kids proper hygiene and healthy habits that will last
